Agreement 03 / Hosted coffee

A coffee stop.
More reasons to come in.

We fund the machine and supplies. You make room for a convenient coffee stop, with the opportunity for customers to pick up something else while they are there.

A clear plan from the start

The coffee starts first.
The venue share starts later.

01 / Your coffee stop opens

Give people another
reason to visit.

We provide the machine and drinks supplies. Customers pay at the station, and Coffee Network keeps the initial coffee sales. Your shop has something new to offer alongside the products it already sells.

02 / Your venue share starts

A little from each cup.
Paid to your business.

Your venue then receives the share we have agreed together. Before you sign, we explain exactly when those payments begin, how they are worked out and how you receive them.

Your venue share does not start on day one. We agree the start point in your proposal. Extra visits and other purchases depend on your location and customers.

Once your venue share starts

A smaller share.
A different opportunity.

In this example, once your venue payments begin, you receive 20p from each £3 coffee. Your actual share and any venue costs are confirmed with you.

Hosted coffee is mainly about the coffee offer and the opportunity for other purchases. The later share is an additional benefit. Your proposal confirms the actual terms.

Think beyond the cup

What else might
go with their coffee?

A newsagent or sweet shop may give a coffee customer another reason to browse or pick up an everyday item. Placement, visibility and passing trade matter.

A waiting-area coffee serves a different purpose: the customer is already visiting. We assess the objective and likely use rather than recommending hosted coffee for every venue.

Before your first cup

A few useful answers.

Does our venue earn from the first cup?

Coffee Network keeps the initial coffee sales. Your venue payments start later, at the point agreed with you. We explain when they begin and the share you receive before you sign.

How much would our venue receive?

We agree your venue share for your site and expected use. The 20p per cup shown here is an illustration. Your proposal confirms your actual share, how it is worked out and when payments begin.

What does our team provide?

Suitable space, agreed utilities and access, daily cleaning and refilling, and a tidy serving area. Coffee Network provides the machine, supplies and agreed machine care.

Is this the right agreement if coffee income is our main goal?

Compare high-volume hire and shared-revenue coffee too. Hosted coffee has lower direct earning potential and is mainly about adding a useful coffee offer with the lowest regular venue cost of the three arrangements.
